10 year old me was sitting in her parents room alone watching the 2 hour long season finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I remember feeling so excited and happy and as I watch it i relaized it was my favourite show ever. Then, just as it cuts to the final scene in the Jasmine Dragon, my uncle kicked me out to watch a movie and I was PISSED. But I saw it the next day and i was SO HAPPY. This sparked the desire to own all of the episodes on DVD (which after 2 years of collecting I did).
If I hadn’t done this I would be a completely different person.
Now 4 years later i still watch the old episodes and I enjoy them as much as I did 4 years ago. The Legend of Korra rekindled these feels and the excitement I felt every time a new episode aired and so I want to say: Thanks Avatar for years of happiness.
